7-Day Adventure · Summit at 5,137m

Mount Ararat

Seven days to the roof of Türkiye — base camp, acclimatisation, and a summit push to 5,137m.

Doğubayazıt · Ağrı province · Türkiye

A mountain of memory and altitude.

Mount Ararat is the highest peak in Türkiye at 5,137m — a dormant volcano rising alone above the Anatolian plateau, and the mountain named in Genesis 8 as the resting place of the ark.

Seven days from arrival to summit and back. Two nights in the town of Doğubayazıt, four nights on the mountain in staged camps, one long summit day. Chef on the mountain, horses to carry gear, guides who have summited hundreds of times.
